He said he was calling from Microsoft and my computer was transmitting error messages to them. I told him I've already heard of this scam so he should try to think up a new one before he called back.

I use to keep them on the phone to waste their time, which really made them angry in the end when I told them I knew it was a scam.
Today I told them to stay on the phone while I put a trace on the phone. They hung up.
