VIP ROGERS CUSTOMER - 09-30-2010

Yes, this is Rogers Collections when you have a past due account. They hound me night and day leaving a recorded Voice Message from Rogers to call them back at another #.
They have been harrassing me with daily calls for a mere $25 overdue.
Customer Service is not what it used to be.
I guess since Ted died they are hurting for $$. Seems pretty petty if you ask me.
Just waiting for them to cut some of my specialty channels.... Nasty money hungry monopoly.

I just called back this phone number 416-645-2105 and reached the real Rogers i spoke to a general customer service rep he told me that one can report an illegal phone number by dialing *57 which costs money but the number goes to the police he also said that the next time they call one should ask for the account number he said that they employ many third party companies to do collection calls and that could be one of them but they all have an account number of the customer they are calling so they should be able to tell it to you or ask to be transfered to a CSR to discuss your account and if they can't do that then you know its bluff.

This number has been calling my home number several times per day for at least a week now. They never leave a voice mail and the only ID is the actual Number itself. I never answer phone numbers that I do not recognize. I can see that it COULD be ROGERS... I don't know why as my bill IS NOT PAST DUE! I do not OWE anything on my ROGERS Bill and the number they are calling is NOT a ROGERS Phone Number. It IS a VOIP number, however, it does not belong to ROGERS.

I just reported this number to the Ontario Ombudsman. It is ILLEGAL for any "Collections", Telemarketer, etc. to call you more then 3 thimes in any 7 day time period! I strongly recommend that you all file a formal complaint as well and get these people to LEARN THE LAWS!!!

THIS IS NOT ROGERS.
I had them call me saying I owed $77 on my account. I told them that I had already talked to someone earlier that week and that the balance was wrong. They demanded I make a credit card payment right away. They didnt verify any information and wanted my money.
I called Rogers to complain about the rude person. The rep looked the number up and said that none of the collection agencies used it. He said my account was fine and I DID NOT owe $77.
Reported these scammers to www.phonebusters.com (or .ca)

I can confirm that this number is indeed from Rogers.

However, the reason they are calling is not necessarily because payment is past due, as many people with pre-authorized payments can attest to.

I answered the call and it was a courtesy call from Rogers making sure everything on my new contract was understood and if I had any questions about the new invoice or my new iPhone. The daily calls stopped after I decided to answer the call.

I was getting calls from this number on my Bell Mobility work cellphone. They were looking for an individual that was not me. I told them this several times but the calls continued.

I finally complained to the Office of the President at Rogers. I received an emailed reply within 24hrs (on a Sunday) and the calls stopped.

Yep, it's Rogers, calling to remind you they didn't get your payment.
I got one call 2 days ago, let it go to voicemail but they didn't leave any.
I got a 2nd call from them today; same thing - no voicemail left. so I called them back.
The rep I talked to wasn't sure at first why they would even call me... neither was I as the account is not even in my name and I'm not the (primary) account holder. Oh well, got everything straightened out.

It's Rogers calling because your account is "past due". The "dead air" is the pause before the recording kicks in: it's an autodialler. My opinion: if I forget to pay my bill by the due date, and they charge me $8 and change in late fees (which they do), then they can wait until the NEXT due date to collect the arrears! After all, they've charged me a fee to have that option extended to me, and the charge is no different whether you're 1 day late or 30. But of course, they'll call 4 or 5 times each day to annoy you, and sometimes they'll block their number display to try to fool you. Take my advice: don't try to argue with these chimps. Hit ignore, or block the number, and try not to forget to pay your bill by the due date. I intend to keep browsing the web for better deals from other less abusive service providers.

Yeap! 4166452105 is the number that appeared, I didn't answer cause I was on another call. If everyone thinks this is Rogers, then its easy to figure it out! They are just trying to waste our talking minutes. And if not, they are just trying to scam you out of your minutes, by entering your answering service, if you have it, and passing on the long distance charges to your phone.

I get repeated calls from this number and when I ansewr--no one's talking on the other line.
This is harassment from Rogers telecommunications and I want it to stop immediately.
