Caller claimed to be from Microsoft as I my windows programme was reporting errors on their end. Im quite savvy re these scams so I had my own fun with him, he wasnt best please, doubt he'll be calling back :-)

I just contacted my (Maryland) Attourny General's office. I reported this number after repeated calls, it's the Microsof registry scam. They said they can do nothing if I don't have the real name or number, which this is not. The called from another number also. I did some research on my own, but each number leads to a dead end. The Bellvue OH company thet comes up as the provider of the number hasn't been in business in almost 20 years and the other number that called me has a non-existant area code. Microsoft does nothing, the FCC does nothing. I would love to track these bastards down, but I need help to go any further, I'm no expert and I don't have the technology the government has, I wish I did.

Caller continuously calls our home phone, about 5 to 6 times per day. If I answer, there is silence for about 15 seconds. Then a recorded voice says "good-by". These calls are creepy and very annoying.
