Called stated he could reduce my % on credit cards. When asked who he was calling from he stated he could reduce WF, Chase, BofA, and other cards. When asked repeatedly he became irate. When asked his name he stated blah blah blah

Hey everyone. Got a hold of the person who owns the number. He reports that he has been spoof'd. (Its a real thing) Malicious people can hijack the phone systems and display whatever number they want to when they spam call you. Its a workaround on the DOnotCall list. Its against the law to spoof someone's number. The owner is going to the FCC 4/9/2015 to file a complaint. I am sorry that everyone ended up being a victim here. THe owner of the number and everyone they called. The owner reports that they called about 1800 ppl in the space of a few hours.
