The caller was an older man with a slight Southern twang saying the call was concerning a criminal investigation and my phone number had been implicated in this investigation. He said it was imperative that I call him back. There was a lot of background voices and noise like you might hear in a police station so if this was a scam, they had gone to great lengths to make it sound real!
I have not called him back and am hoping he will call again because the next time I will let the answering machine take it. I want my husband to hear this! If it is a crank call as I suspect, I will block it from bothering me again.

Caller stated this was not a "sales" call but a urgent criminal investigation re: this phone number and it was imperative I call back. I am glad we have the internet to do some "look see" before we subject ourselves to a scam or unwarranted harrasement. DO NOT CALL THEM BACK!

The caller was an older man gruff voice saying the call was concerning a criminal investigation and our phone number had been implicated in this investigation. He said it was imperative that we call 877-331-8194 within 24 hours. There was a background recording of voices and noise trying to make it sound like a law enforcement dispatch center,what a crock! SCAM!
