Received a call 000-000-0000 telling me to call 866-531-9659 because they had a summons for me. I called and after being on hold for approximately eight minutes a woman came on and said i owe this credit card company about 2200 dollars but if I pay today they will knock 1000 dollars off the bill. I told her I need some proof because I never heard of the company. Few seconds later she became nasty with me and threaten to freeze my assets and I see you in court. I called a few minutes later because I had a couple of questions for them. They didn't answer and ask them to call me back. They never did. I'm glad I looked up this website because I got alot of good information everyone. Thanks Alot!

Have received multiple calls (leaving me messages because I am at work and don't answer unknown numbers) for a Rob Cardoza at my phone number and I have called them back to let them know its not his number and I don't know who it is. "ok, thank you we will remove the number" today I answer the call, its a recording with the above number so I called it again, guy answers not so friendly, only asked for the number briefly apologizes and says thank you. The incoming call was from an unavailable number of course. So much for laws being in place for this crap.

I Received a few calls from them while at work, I returned their call and supposedly my $9-$20 debt from 08' turned into a $1200 debt. I gave them my address and he said I would be served and have to come in today(1day after I called). But after I gave him my current address he hung up on me? What's that about...

LanePowell and Assoc is part of Convergent outsourcing or USA which is a part of LVNV. They have nurmerous complaints in pretty much every state in the nation. DO NOT pay them.. they can do nothing to you. They cannot arrest you, fine or jail you for old debt. They are also P&L Aquiisitions. 13833 Hawthorne Blvd #22, Hawthorne CA 902250 LVNV is the only legally registered entitty in the state of Fla. IF you are contacted by any of the above...other than LVNV, IN florida none can legally operate.. File a complaint with the office of financial responsibility

This site needs a "report scammer" link so people can complain with an effective way to stop the ABUSE and invasion of privacy. Also with today's technology, we should be able to reverse ID the "call source" and MASS SPAM the offending scammer. This would give them a taste of their own bad medicine.

they claim I owe money from 2006...shrug... what WE need to do is get an address for these scammer. Post it on the nets.. reason:
!. you can file la complaint with your state office of financial responsibility and they will shut them down....for now..
2. you can send a cease and desist lettter and legally they have to stop.. IF they keep it up, you can sue them.

Ive been getting calls from this number. 18776701087. I called them back and raised the idea that I thought it was a scam and they became very beligerent with me, calling me several different derogatory names then proceeded to hang up on me. Guess they were busted. Any reputable and legitimate company would not act like that i'm sure. Hope this helps others when dealing with these people and know they operate on scare tactics and coercion
