When they call from "cardmember services" you will be prompted to press '1' to take advantage of the interest rate reduction offer.
When you press '1' a live Indian operator will get on the phone and tell you that they are able to reduce your rate. They ask how much you owe on your credit card. I made up $2,400 and told them that. They will then ask for the expiration date "to make sure your account is not expired". I made up the date of 12/2017. They will then tell you that their records indicate that your card starts with a '5' (making it a Master Card). To gauge reaction I said "no it is a 4 (visa)". The person will then confirm with you that it is a visa. They then ask for the entire card number to get your rate to the lowered amount. At that point I asked "does anyone ever actually fall for this?" The person squeaked out a tiny "yes" and hung up.

Caller was obviously in a call center as I could hear everything going on in the background. His premise for calling was that he said I had had bladder surgery when I have not then said I had diabetes when I don't....
After this we said goodbye.
Not sure why exactly they was calling thou.

Was told I would have a warrant for my arrest for a payday loan that was unpaid...claimed to have tried to withdtaw funds but my account was closed??? Really? ? Said I had internet fraud and apparently I told someone I died?
My bank is aware of this now and said it sounds lime a scam. I was really shook up about this.

Computer scam. Indian person on phone with bad English skills. Trying to get you to install their ransomware so that you have to pay them to get your computer and data back. Just tell them to "Go eff yourself" and they will understand. Moron I talked to just started laughing because he knew he was caught. Microsoft support does not call you like this.
You may get the exact same kind of call from "Not Available 1-202-653-6985" and "Software CO SCA 1-202-653-6985"
