Russian mafia groups sit on the other side of the organizational spectrum from Yakuza. I have been getting calls from them for the past 8 years. They subside for times here and there, I once stopped getting calls from them for a year and a half, but eventually they will pick up again. They can be quite violent at times or just Loki like. I once had a caller tell me that he was member of the Taliban and that he was going to hunt me down and blow up my house. I have crashed their networks here and there, but they just rebuild and reroute. They are malicious and annoying. GOOD LUCK to you if you insist on fighting and if ANYONE, I mean ANYONE can get these people to stop. PLEASE share here, but be warned some of our brethren are linked into this as well.

Pretend you are going to make a purchase and then keep asking questions about anything. But make sure you are convincing the caller that you are really going to buy the garbage they are trying to "help" you with.
I am amazed how dumb they are to continue to call. I tell them EVERY TIME I am not interested. Still get called.
Then I wasted their purchased online number time, and they didn't call back. I will do it until they give up!

Answer the call but don't say a word. By not talking, the telemarketer will get frustrated and eventually hang up. They count on being
able to talk to you. My feeling is, you waste my time, I waste yours. And if you keep them on the phone waiting, they can't call some poor stiff or old lady who has no idea of how to deal with the silence. They very rarely call back but, same treatment if they do.
