They keep calling asking for someone that i never heard of. Same name every time. I've told them repeatedly to stop calling or i'll report them. The guy yelled loudly & hung up. So i reported them.

Caller claimed to be from Microsoft and was calling about my computer. called at 7:30 am!! Called several months ago to tell me that they were receiving error messages and my computer was going to crash. Told me where to look for the messages. ( Was an error log on my computer that is always there.) I pulled up number while he was on phone and saw that it was a scam. told him to remove my number. He told me he paid for my number and he would call me as many times as he wanted to. Never heard back from him again until this weekend. Called 3 times today. I will report to FCC now.

I received a call saying that IRS has filed a law suit against me because I have not paid the taxes correctly and that I have to pay 5k+ immediately...otherwise lein on my bank account etc. My attorney said, it is a tax scam.

I hung up, he had the nerve to call back and call me a piece of white hoe-trash. I blocked his number but I am sure that he will call again.

I immediately hung up, he didn’t mention a company he was calling from just that the computer was sending a message. I just wanted everyone to be aware of the situation.

I got a call today from the same number. What is interesting is that 309 329 is the code for my home town, Astoria, IL. After asking the caller about Astoria, he switched me to another line. Then I figured it could be a scam. I gave then no information. Then I called the county sheriff and gave them the data and their reply was it seems to be a scam. A lot of such scams are happening now and any real police operation would not call you.

Phone rang once, then hung up. I called ghe number, where a guy told me he was with the "Illinois Association of Chiefs of Police" – sounds pretty sketchy to me. He offered to send me a "pledge kit" to make a donation, then transferred me over to their "processing department," who pressured me to give them my credit card number. I refused, whereupon they said they'll send the kit if I promised to send them a donation by check. I gave them a fake name and my real address and told them to send the kit. I'd like to have a look at their "kit" and how they're running this scam.

Received a robocall from this number stating they were the IRS, and to please call them back regarding this urgent issue. I called the number back and asked to be removed from their list so they would no longer illegally robocall me and the guy said "OK" and hung up.
I called him back ten times. It was clearly very annoying for him. If they call you and you have some free time, I highly recommend doing that. Also be sure to register a complaint with the FCC at http://donotcall.gov.

nothing he said made any sents .i told him i had no need for his help yet he kept asking me to go to my computer and push the flag as he called it along with 5 or something to that effect. ask why i didnt get emails on this and he said because emails was personal.first time call i told him i didnt trust him he ask why instead of having any prof of the company he said he work for there was no way to verify who he was . he then called back ask him the same questions he said he would give me a cell number as prof that he was with windows .i began to tell him that didnt prove a thing i can have a phone number as i went on to call his BS he diconnected me.

SCAMMER DEBT COLLECTIONS Pretty much the same as all the others, that I needed to make myself available at work today between 12 and 5pm. He also said that I needed 2 forms of i.d. and a witness who could verify that my identity and that my manager and an HR rep be available. Looks like their "act" is getting better. Ditto about asking if I had the court papers and when was my court date. Wanted me to give him a CC# to make a first payment or they would serve me some summons or something. I played along with this a bit then when I told him I could not make a payment today he said they had no choice but to serve me and said good luck and hung up.

I've been received phone calls from these people. I was trying to get a payday loan online and ended up getting emails from them as well as calls. The man left his first name but I could hear laughter and talking in the background and the man did not even leave a complete message. I also received 2 emails today from David Gray/Daniel Cartain of "Cash Advance America" saying I was approved for a large for 2 years. I did some searching online and it turns out these people are taking money out of peoples accounts and not loaning a dime. I am not calling or emailing them people back. I also saw that they are also including under identify theft. I have bad credit as it is and cannot afford another damaging thing on my report.

These jerks called my aunt repeatedly on her cell phone and at work, scaring the crap out of her, threatening to have her sued and even arrested. Said they represent the Dept. of Financial Fraud Investigation, which does not exist. Said she owed them over $900 but would settle for $300 if she sent them the money via GreenDotMoneyPack before 3pm. Said they work for Cash Advance America. Looked up their info online, but of course, could find none because they aren't a legit business or government entity. So I started doing some harassing of my own. I called the number private (*67) and a jerk answered by saying, "Hello." Not, "Hello, thank you for calling XYZ company. This is jerk speaking. How can I help you?" Just, "Hello." I told them I wanted to send them a payment. Said I needed their address. Said I also wanted their business license #. Of course, they would provide neither. Told them I was reporting them to the Federal Trade Commission. Guy told me I had no proof they were scammers. Told him I'd been recording the phone call from the beginning. He hung up. I continued to call back repeatedly from the blocked number. Couldn't get anyone on the phone after that. Cash Advance America website warns against this exact thing. Wants consumers to report this crap using the following phone number 888-310-4238 and by calling local law enforcement as well. Consumer beware!

The same thing happened to me. I looked up the number and saw that others had also been text by the number so i continued the conversation with him to receive info. He claims that he is Kevin and that he is 24. He asked me for a photo, I then sent him a fake one, he then sent me a photo of someone who looked to be in their 40s. This makes me think that he is some sort of predator who wants pictures of girls.
