Called to say they were showing up at my door or my workplace to deliver court papers for a bad check to put me in jail. He would only give me this number to call but when I did it hung up on me. I have no bad check so I wanted to clear my name and called the local sheriff. He advised me to file a complaint with the state attorney general so I did. These people have been sued for their collection activities and for false debt activities. Demand written proof of the debt and if its not forthcoming then report them.
