I have been getting these calls at least once a month since around Sept 2015 - names of callers change monthly, Julie Smith, and lately names of actors - Steve Martin, Dennis Quaid. Recording says they are from US Treasury, I need to go before a Magistrate for criminal charges, blah, blah, blah, and they Dennis Quaid this morning. Two weeks ago it was Steve Martin - I called the number to see what they had to say, I started by questioning them about the call and why they did not ask for me by name and person hung up on me.

Dennis Quaid is an actor, born in 1954. I suppose this POS poser wants to be one too, just like David Wheeler and his bimbo "wife", from Sandy Hook Hoax fame. Google "David Wheeler played 2 roles at Sandy Hook" and watch David go from a retarded swat team sniper in the morning, to the grieving father in the evening. And then google "Sandy Hook Surprise" to see his supposedly dead son singing at the Super Bowl in Feb. 2013. All these "actors" got one thing in common. They all seem to be crooks.

"Hi My name is Dennis Quaid (cague? craig?). I am calling you about an enforcement action executed by the US treasury for your serious attention. Ignoring this call is an intentional attempt to avoid appearance before a magistrate judge or a grand jury and is a federal criminal offence. Call me on 805 823 0402 (caller repeats number). I advise you to cooperate with us and help us to help you."

Got a call at approximately 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time in which I didn't recognize the number so I allowed it to go to voicemail. Recording of a voice said "My name is Dennis Quaid and I am calling regarding an enforcement action executed by the U.S. Treasury. Your failure to return my call will be considered an intentional second attempt to fail to appear before a magistrate or judge. My number is 505-273-5352 and I suggest you call me as soon as possible to avoid criminal prosecution."
Looked up area code and it is Albuquerque, New Mexico and the caller ID showed the number was "Wireless Caller." Recorded voice had a heavy accent that sounded to me as Middle Eastern.

In the Chicago Suburbs: Got a phone call from a gentleman named Dennis Quaid with an East Indian accent phone number (917) 775-0021 - he also threaten legal action on the part of the US Treasury Department - total scam. I agree If you do talk to them, be careful not to engage or tell them you know they are scammers otherwise, they will escalate their efforts to get any information that you may not realize you are giving then.
