A woman called and said she was with Microsoft Technical security support (what I remember her saying anyway) and that my computer was sending a lot of errors being sent to their servers and that she needed the Microsoft service ID number to fix it and that if I was near my computer she could guide me on how to get the number and show me the errors. When I told her it seemed to be working perfectly she hung up on me (something a legitimate company wouldn't do). This is a total scam probably to sell the service ID numbers or to serendipitously gain access to your computer for criminal purposes. “THIS IS A SCAM PLEASE DON’T FALL FOR IT OR GIVE THEM INFORMATION FROM YOUR COMPUTER “
