Called an stated I had tax fraud. Definitely a foreign accent. Stated he needed me to contact him immediately. Do not disregard. WOW, why do people think we are going to fall for this kind of stuff.

The man is stating he is Officer Peter Scott on the recording advising I call 206-388-4903. I called the number and spoke with a man who called himself Officer Mark Benson stated I owe $800 from previous 2 years of taxes. He stated I have an warrant out for my arrest. If I agree to make a payment he will cancel the warrant and I will not go to jail. He stated if I hang up the phone the police will come an serve me papers and lock me up and I will be locked up for 3-5 years. After I requested to speak to his boss he became irate and called me all kinds of name. He then hung up the phone. Someone need to stop him.

"This is Officer Peter Scott calling you from the Department of Social Security Administration. The reason you have received this phone call from our department is to inform you that there is a legal enforcement action filed on your social security number for criminal activities, so when you get this message kindly revert as soon as possible on our number that is 210-787-1470. I repeat 210-787-1470, before we begin with the legal proceedings. Thank you."
