There is considerable amount of activity on this number, and one site even provides a transcript of the call. It is as follows:
"This is Officer Peter Scott calling you from the Department of Social Security Administration. The reason you have received this phone call from our department is to inform you that there is a legal enforcement action filed on your social security number for criminal activities, so when you get this message kindly revert as soon as possible on our number that is 210-787-1470. I repeat 210-787-1470, before we begin with the legal proceedings. Thank you."

Confirmed with LIFELOCK that this number 888-810-7611 is a SCAM number. It started with a mailing about my Social Security Account with a contact phone number to call. the other numbers were legit but not the one I called. Were clever enough that they got my SS number. DO not call this number it is for identity theft.
