Called and said I needed to sit in front of my computer and turn it on. That they had been getting error warnings about my computer. Supposedly I am in there database as a Windows user and they wanted to me help them clear up the problems in my computer that I was not even aware of. Hung up on them.

called me no less than 50 times before i blocked his number. By coincidence I had just called Comcast because my internet was down and they called right after. After a bit, something seemed fishy so I hung up on them. Could they be into my computer now, staling my personal info?

Heavily accented man was "calling about my computer". I interrupted and asked for his call-back number. He immediately hung up.

They called and knew my name. Said they were calling about 'my computer'. They said they were with Tech Support America or something and I hung up. It was a live person, not recording.

Tried to engage me in conversation about my computer and operating system and they got my phone number from my computer (???). I didn't stay on the phone long enough for them to ask for my credit card info. Person on the other end had very thick accent, hard to understand. Lots of other calls going on in the background.

Caller with accent wanted to fix my compromized computer. Claimed to be an IT Tech Rep. Said they were located in Utah but he was calling from SE Asia. TSA has a website but it doesn't have a company address or phone and has grammar errors, ie., smells phishy. The guy had my address and phone no. The caller wanted to walk me through a "fix" but I told him to send me the fix info via snail mail.
