Have them make a police report in your area. Then, go to the bank and tell them they didn't authorize that charge.Explain that your parents didn't understand what they were getting into. My mother thought it was the actual bank that was calling and these crooks played along w/it posing as a bank rep! Then make sure you put an alert on their credit reports just so nothing else happens. I hope this helps...good luck!

I got the same as all of you. They claim to be a financial company and will negotiate a lowered interest rate on all your credit cards. Then, if you give them credit card info they charge around $900 to as many cards as you have furished them. TOTAL SCAM!!!
They are going by several names, EPIK RELIEF, but also, CLEAR SOLUTIONS, & GRAMACY PARK. Today I got a call from El Pointe Financial and I'm wagering they are the same group of swindlers.

Check with your phone company to see if you have "Last Call Blocking". I got calls from this number for 4 days straight and found that hitting *60 on my phone lets you block the last caller -you have to enter in a few keys and your phone company may have a different code, but it's worth it to find out. They will hear a message telling them their number has been blocked.

This same thing happened to my mother but the call came on the caller ID as a "Canada Call". When I answered this and pressed one to see who answered. I really got pissed and told him I was on to them and it was already reported. He yelled out "sh.t" and hung up!

I get calls from these people all the time and every time I file a complaint on-line on the do not call government site. Today, after receiving another call, I got fed up and called the FCC directly to complain. The FCC rep informed me that their investigators only pursue those numbers that they get the most complaints about. Most states have specific agencies tied to defending the elderly against predatory vendors and scams like this one. Aside from filing a complaint with the FTC and notifying your parent's CC vendor that the debt is a fraud, you really ought to contact an attorney.

Same damn recorded message that I've been getting for over a year now "an important message about your auto's warranty".
I've asked them to stop calling me, told them I'm on DONOTCALL and even told them I don't even own a damn car!!!!!!!
Filed as usual w/ DONOTCALL.GOV .. which doesn't seem to do a damn thing to stop them.
have tried reporting these to the state Attorney General they call from (usually FL) & the local police... but since they fake the #s it doesn't work. And my cell carrier TMobile claims they can't do anything about it.

My parents have been victim to these people. Unfortunately, they gave them their CC number and aggreed to the so called service they offer. My parents are older and gullable. I had my father call his CC company to dispute the charges and the CC company said he needed to try to resolve it through the vendor, i.e., Epik Relief. When he called them and asked to speak to someone. They told him someone would call him in 24-48 hours to discuss his cancellation options. What can I do to help him?
