If you call Microsoft (which I did) they say DO NOT LET THEM ON YOUR COMPUTER. Microsoft there looking into this scam that was a while a go I guess they can't stop them.

asked me to go to my computer, I told her I was there. She asked if I knew my computer was sending error messages to Microsoft. I said yes, she said what are you going to do about it? I said I guess wait til you are done hacking me. She got pissed. She said well I will fix it so you don't get hacked. I asked if Bill Gates knew about this. She was furious and said fine call me back when you are hacked and hung up. I of course tried to call back. Number does not exist. These calls come from all different numbers to my home and cell at all different times. I have had enough. I guess if I have to deal with them, I might as well amuse myself.

He says he is from Microsoft and wants to get into our computer. He says there is a virus on it and the matter is urgent. His voice is that of a middle aged Eastern Indian male. The caller ID comes up as Henry G. Kanicki but he says his name is John. He calls late at night and early in the morning. Sometimes the caller ID comes up as Private Number as well.
