I questioned the representative before telling him that I do not own any credit cards & please remove my number - at which time he hung up on me.
Prior to that I was questioning him about the company name, he said "Card Services" and clarified that the company name is "Card Member Services" where they offer to lower your APR on your credit cards. Claims they work with all the major credit card companies like Chase, Wells Fargo, BofA, etc.

Called to say they could lower rates on my nonexistent credit cards. When I pushed 1 to speak to someone, I immediately said, "I do not have any cards, so I do not know what this is concerning." Dude hung up on me. Number fails when you attempt to call back. THIS IS A SCAM!! THEY ONLY WANT TO COMMIT FRAUD AND USE YOUR INFORMATION.

Caller ID said the call was from Nottingham, MD. Since it was my work phone, I had to answer. There was an automated voice with the standard 'reduce your credit card debt' message. I pressed "1" to speak with a representative who identified himself as an employee of "Card Member Services". Before I could politely tell him he was calling a business, and the number is on the Do Not Call registry, he disconnected.

This company tries to pretend its with visa or mastercard and will lower your interest rates, they arent who they say they are I reported them to bank of america,
they will know the starting digit of your cards but thats it, they dont have your info, DONT GIVE IT TO THEM.
Call the fraud line and get new cards if you do or you will get roped up into their scam.

I get these calls nearly EVERYDAY and sometimes it's a person but more often an automated voice telling me it's "urgent" and this is my "final notice" and to dial 1 to speak with someone or 3 to be removed from future calling. Ya Right, I've hit 3 maybe 10 separate times and they keep calling. When I do get a representative as soon as I tell them I've requested to be removed I am mysteriously disconnected. People who work for these people are either desperate, stupid, or fully involved in the scam.

First of all DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER. They say they want to lower your interest rate but they need your credit card number. I was polite to the man and just kept telling him I would not give my credit card number to someone I don't know. He got frustrated and kept saying "you are not listening" I was listening but he was not. Never did get a response for him to take me off his calling list.
