Received a call yesterday from this number and didn't pick up. Received another call today and picked up in order to tell them to take my # off of their call list. "James" told me he was calling from "Global_____" (I couldn't hear the rest of the company name. Then he proceeded to ask me about my credit cards. I cut him off to tell him to remove my name from the call list. He was very insistent, as was I and he finally just hung up on me. No idea how my # ended up on their call list.

This is the rudest company I've ever had the pain of dealing with. They called me twice today on my cell phone re: my 1/2 brother. Stated he was going to be served and gave me a phone number and claim number to have him call. I asked how they got my information as I have limited contact with my 1/2 brother and they said he put me down as a reference. They then proceeded to call me back in an hour (again while I was at work) and asked if I had notified him. I once again stated that I did not want to be contacted as I have no control or even contact with my 1/2 brother. After work I called back to ask them to remove my number and it was the most unprofessional call I've ever been a part of. The lady told me to quit screaming at her (I was not) and she was so rude and condescending. I once again told her not to call my number again or I would turn them into the Attorney General's Office. She assured me that she had no reason to be professional. Seriously? This is not even my debt yet they are going to harass me?? Wow. What a world we live in :(

Calls and tells me that chat a claim has been placed against me. And to call the number posted. It belongs to Global. The company will not send any information in the mail. They want you to take care of the problem over the phone. They want a credit card number to pay a debt that isn't mine. They keep calling and calling my work. They have been told that they cant call my work. I think that they need to follow the rules like everybody else.

This company is a debt collector and it is a scam. They call themselves a pre litigation firm but they are rude, threaten serving papers and arrest warrants and are basically just belligerent. Do Not Give them any money or information. Tell them to cease and desist all forms of communication, report them to the authorities and then ignore them. Pre litigation firms do not do business in this manner, I know I worked in the legal field in the past. Global = Criminals.

Called me at work screamed at me on the phone. My boss told them I could not receive calls at work he told her he was customer service and had recei ed a complaaint. He called back and screamed at my boss then talked to a manager who also told him I could not talk at work. He must have called at least five times. He also called my cell phone at least ten times while I was working.

Received 2 calls from this number today, July 5th, from a John Turner, needing to serve one of our employees some papers regarding a formal claim he received today on his desk on behalf of some other company, and it was the same story for both calls received but for 2 different employees. In no moment during the call did the caller state his company's name, I had to call the 1-888-630-1764 to check the name, 'Global', the phone rang, rang, and rang for a while without anyone answering. They wanted to talk with the employees' supervisor, for which we don't allow such thing for any of our employees' personal business matters. The guy was a real jerk and wanted to speak to Human Resources to find out our company's policy regarding this issue, and need to contact the employees before coming in to our offices to serve the formal order... I guess they must be hard of hearing cause I clearly stated that all personal matters need to address during our employees' own time. He gave me a reference number to use when the employees call then back, which I did not take down, as this clearly sounds like a scam. Don't let this people fool you, I have dealt with plenty of scammers and this is just another payloan scam, probably from people applying for loan through Advanced Cash advances.
You have a right to not provide them with any information, and if they are willing to go to your job or home to formally served you, well let them and just be waiting with the police on the other side of your door. All companies have policies regarding this.
You can also filled a formal complaint with the FBI and Better Business Bureau. As I have done so for plenty of Scamming Companies.

Call came up as "unknown" on caller ID. Caller started asking me for personal info, saying she had to "serve me papers". Would not give me any info about the issue, and was very aggressive in attempting to get info from me. I gave her nothing, and said that I wanted to talk to a supervisor immediately. She said I had to call 877-255-1817. Phone number is listed to a web design firm in Illinois, with connections to India. Clearly a scam.

I encountered the most annoying caller from this number. This belongs to a collection agency called Global. Told me I have to pay my ex-wife's debt because she gave my name as sort of a guarantor or something. I found this ridiculous. In my 35 years, it's my first time to hear such a thing. I won't take this seriously.
