A few minutes ago I received an urgent call for my husband. However the man spoke broken English so poorly and with a name like Alan Blackman I knew he was not from the IRS. He stated my husband had to call today about his taxes. I immediately looked the number up and found it is a scam.

OMG!!! I was scammed for $800.00 at 8:20am on March 5, 2014. OMG!!! I can usually catch scammers but some reason when Dexter Cruz called me at 8:20am, Wednesday morning, March 5, 2014 I thought he was real.. OMG!!! This was the most nerve racking thing I have ever been through. He told me that I was being arrested in 1.5 hours. He read me my rights, the criminal charges that I was being charged with, he said the police would be at my house soon. I got so upset that I followed all of his instructions. He would not let me hang the phone. He said that he had to stay on the phone with me, while I went to the bank to withdraw all my money out of my checking account, to go to the Walgreens to get a GreenDot Cash Pak card. Loaded the money on the card and gave him the number on the back of the card. All the time thinking I was paying the IRS for back taxes. This was a nightmare. Which is why I am still awake at 3:58am Thursday morning March 6, 2014. As soon as I gave him the numbers from the prepaid cards he said he would call me back to discuss my payment arrangements for the balance I owe. He knew where I lived, he knew that I had received mail from the IRS, he knew how much I had in my checking accounts, he knew everything about me, which is why I thought he was real. That SOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now I am out 800.00 - all the money I had in my checking account. I have utility bills that need to be paid. How did he get access to all of my information? This in itself should be against the law! I have been violated so badly!!! What I went thru was totally un-called for. He needs to be put under the jail! Now what????? Also, he called me back from 800-829-1040. He said he was an Investigator for the IRS.

They called me claiming they were with the irs. when I asked for a billing address the guy on the phone hung up on me. I called back and he asked me why I needed their address. I said I would like to have it since im dealing with the irs. he said there was no reason for it and told me to not call again and hung up on me. THIS IS A SCAM PEOPLE!!! do not give them your information!!!!

We let the answering machine pick up, as we listened ... an automated computer generated voice told us we owe money to the IRS and it must be paid promptly. Said threats like we could lose our license or be arrested, and it was imparative to return the call ... it was a long message, but this was the gist of it. We live in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and our caller ID registers the call as coming from

We know it is a scam, hoax, ect ... I thought it was odd that at the end of the call, the automated computer generated voice told us to "take care". I hope the REAL IRS finds these people and turns them every which way but lose!
