These are the guys who come to your door and demand to see your hydro/gas bill, will not take no for an answer, stick their feet in the door to prevent you from closing it, and sign you up for some contract you've been fooled into signing.

I was contacted at my place of work and on my cell phone both message stated I needed to call back with answer asap. The caller was not an American Citizen. I returned the call, left a voicemil message for the gentleman, sharing I had contacted the NY Sheriff's Office, this was a scam and not to call my place of work again

Call from Anaheim, caller represented himself as an agent from the IRS and asked for my wife. I told I could take the message. He started to explain that there was money owed. When I asked why the IRS would be calling from Anaheim and how could I confirm that he was legit, he made a hasty exit, saying that I would be contacted by the sheriff (Really?! A county officer is going to contact me regarding a federal IRS issue?!) I wish I could have reached through the phone and grabbed this guy, and it sounded like he was in a call center, so evidently, he has a bunch of his buddies organized in this scam.

Someone from this number is calling about an old paid debt and threatening legal action. They give a false name of the company and when they answer they don't say the business name but wait for the caller to initiate the conversstion. They've called my inlaws, wife and son. When I asked for proof that I owned the debt they got really rude and said "the proof will be in the court filings, but you can pay now if you want to.". These guys are CROOKS!

This Indian man keeps calling me saying that I paid for a computer tec service, which I did, and he said that the business went out of business, which it did not, and he wants to refund me my money. He said that he had to credit my credit card. I told him, over and over again that if he could not send me a check to forget it. He just will not stop calling my cell. I wish to find out were they are and send them a letter from my lawyer.

I just got a call from these same idiots that for the last month or two have been pestering me 15 to 20 times (I've given up counting), so every day or two (sometimes twice a day). They had been using 519-936-1585, actually spoofing their caller ID from there which would be a London, Ontario area phone number if it were good, which it is not. These calls come from some boiler room/call centre in Costa Rica. They used to identify themselves as "Equity Information Services", then "Equity Survey Services" and this time he was supposed to use some different name (I believe starting with "Information") but slipped up and started to say "Equity".
This "survey" is in fact fake and an attempt to set you up for a later call from someone trying to sell you some wonderful investments that will make you rich. It clearly is some sort of scam. The CRTC DNCL (Do Not Call List) is useless in situations like this. First, the CRTC cleverly exempted survey and polling companies from honouring the DNCL, plus the call comes from Costa Rice.

Called the number back, got a HEAVY middle eastern or S.W. Asian (India or Pakistan) accent.....he said is name was "David Brown".......LMAO!!!! doesn't sound like a typical David Brown. Anyways his badge (so he says) is 122531. Apparently I'm being charged with fraud and theft.......typical......anyways I told him he was full of sh...t .......or I'm going away for 5 to 10 LOL.
If you want to have some fun, call him back. Ole David is worth a chuckle, and you won't feel bad abusing a foreign caller.....like AT&T's "Brad" from Kansas.

My mother is a Christian woman so this Scammer has told her that he is a Christian as well and that he is going to marry her. he also uses the phone number 876-427-0892 Absolute scum!
