All, for phone number 844-958-3771, concerning the Humana Health Insurance health survey robo calls, I am a long time Humana subscriber so I called the toll free number on my health insurance card and told an agent all about the survey robo call. It took her a couple days to find out but she did call me back and definitely confirmed that the call did come from Humana as part of a Stay Well campaign. I let her know I don't trust calls like this as anyone can spoof their number or anybody's number so it cannot be confirmed via robo call if it really is Humana or not. Someone spoofed my home number a few days ago to call me about lowering my credit card rates so I can't even block them from calling me again as I would be blocking my own number. I told her email won't work either as anyone can spoof an email address and make an email and a website look real. I asked to be removed from future calls like this and that in light of hippa laws, Humana can send me snail mail and it should include the same call back phone number that is on my Humana insurance card, or a real human being can call me. She said I will be removed from call lists within 7 days. Anyone who wants to go the same route, call Humana and tell them about the robo calls and ask to be removed from those type of calls.

Starts out saying it's not a sales call (it is). It then cites a report by AARP (which has you think the caller is from AARP, they are not). They then say that you have medical alert system that, since your doctor or health care professional gave them your info (they didn't), the system is paid for but they need to verify your shipping address. They then add that by talking to them, you will also receive $3,000 in savings (coupons?). Press 1 to verify your address. Press 5 to tell your Doctor you received your system. I simply chose to hang up and add them to my phones reject list.

If you get one of these calls, please report them to the FTC @ 1-888-382-1222. Because they are playing a recorded message that sounds like a real person, you do NOT have to be on the do-not-call list - anyone can report them.
They use to call us a few months ago and then they stopped. Now they are starting up again. The recording they play asks you a couple of questions and really seems like a person, but it's not.
If you answer their questions and indicate you are looking for insurance, they will take your information and sell it to an insurance company. It may be a few days, but you can expect to get a call and may not connect it with this illegal abuse of the phone system. If you do get a call, contact the FTC and give them the information about the insurance company. They can then ask them who they hired. :-)

Card Member Services. THEY WILL NEVER STOP CALLING, SO... “GET EVEN”.
When they call press (1) to be connected to “LIVE OPERATOR” (this will waste their time).
They will try and get as much personal information from you as they can – GIVE THEM FAKE INFORMATION. I usually tell them I have 2 or 3 credit cards with a balance of 7k to 15k and interest rates from 15% to 21%, using this method will keep them on the phone longer and you can waste more of their time. At some point they will ask the name of the credit card, toll free customer service number and credit card number with exp. date (many times they will ask for the last 4-digits of your social security number) REMEMBER, DO NOT GIVE “REAL” PERSONAL INFORMATION OUT TO THEM AS THEY STORE AND SAVE ALL INFO.
Here is a list of numbers Card Member Services has used this week:
207-829-6517, 301-577-6523, 256-526-9650, 337-220-9635, 203-244-7740, 701-771-9654, 620-504-7452, 703-468-4703, 860-949-6352, 908-395-8442.
